and sal dappled glades is worth a visit. The park was named after Jim Corbett the legendary hunter who killed man eating tigers in India. Being in Tiger & Elephant country is a magical experience. Roam free where unexpected
sights & sounds present themselves at almost every turn. The Corbett Tiger Reserve is an excellent belt of the rich sal and mixed woodlands
that span outer Himalayas and are known as foothills or terai. The protected area is home to mind boggling bio diversity and is situated in Nainital District.

The park is habitat of Gharial, Marsh Crocodile and of goat antelope like Goral.

| Day 1 |
Delhi/Corbett National Park/
Arrival & check in. Afternoon is
for jungle trekking. In the evening we present a folk dance, offer Orientation talks and
a Q & A session on package tour, followed by a exciting slide show on bio diversity of the area. The sights and smells of the pristine forest will make the trip enthralling.

| Day 2 |
The Camp. Jamun
0600 hrs: wake up call/Tea: after breakfast we depart by jeep to Durga Devi gate. The Himalayan
foothills are one of the natural wonders of the earth. With lush sub tropical forest
& the bountiful flora & avi fauna: they are a tribute to the nature lover
& the photographer of the wild.
Afternoon a hot lunch served on the banks of The Ramganga River, continue the elephant
safari to see tigers in forest. The experience of just being on an Indian elephant is wonderful. We arrive at Lohachaur
FRH for a refreshing cup of tea.
After a wash and rest - we discuss the next day’s program over a sumptuous dinner.

| Day 3 |
Kanda Forest Rest House
0600 hrs: Wake up call/Tea. After breakfast we start a full day on Elephant back-
always learning the mysteries of this wonderful animal. The Bird life in this lower
altitude wilderness is rich. In the late afternoon we leave our
elephant & continue by 4 WD jeep to Kanda FRH, built in characteristic British
bungalow style, for an overnight stay in the wilderness. Kanda is the highest point
of the park, situated at an altitude of 1020 Meter, the view of the Ramganga valley
& the grass land areas of Dhikala are mesmeriszing.It was in this area that
Jim Corbett shot the kanda man eater. After a wash and brief rest join the naturalist
for discussion & Dinner.

| Day 4 |
Dhikala forest House
0600 hrs: wake up call followed by breakfast. We depart by jeep for jungle safari along side panoramic Ramganga River and dense forests. This is exciting in terms of animal watching and some fabulous birding. The chances
of seeing wild leopard and Ghoral/mountain goat are high. We drive down to the Ramganga
River, to look for the long snout, fish eating gharial and marsh crocodiles. With
the possibility of seeing 5 species of Kingfisher, Pallas and Himalayan gray headed
fishing eagles,osprey,crested serpent eagle and of course the mammalian, the safari
is truly magical.
Arrive dhikala, the natural setting is awesome and the location is picturesque.
Lunch/rest/relax and enjoy the panoramic view of the grassland area and its abundant
wildlife. The ride from Dhikala provides the opportunity for close viewing
of wildlife.

O/N The Corbett Hideaway
0600 hrs: wake up call /Tea/The early morning elephant ride from Dhikala provides
a unique opportunity to observe wildlife in its natural habitat. The preserve is a paradise for the avid bird watcher. After checking out we depart on a jeep safari by the lower jungle track along the Ranganga River, this provides a great opportunity
for viewing game, especially tiger in their natural habitat. This exciting drive
through the unforgettable, sylvan beauty of the Khinanauli range, offers wildlife
viewing in plenty. We continue on our jeep through the stately dense sal forest
and the unparalleled beauty of the luscious green flora.
Late evening we arrive at the hotel - enjoy the comfort of Modern toilet &
shower facilities & share your experience with other guests. Bonfire & Dinner.

| Day 6 |
Back to New Delhi
After a comfortable nights rest, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and depart for onward
destination.
The Accommodation and Food inside the forest
Stay at Lohachaur/Kanda FRH is quiet comfortable but basic. The accommodations is on twin/triple
sharing basis and bathrooms are basic as well. Our support team of 6 persons
including naturalist, driver, attendant and chef apart from Mahout would be there
to assist you for your wilderness progrmme.We will provide the linen & other
toiletries to you. We do serve continental food on the trip too.
