Pushkar Fair is held in the months of October&November. It is an August gathering of camel traders, tourists, those on pilgrimage amd local visitors . Besides tented camps. there are hundreds of shops selling everything from handicrafts to spices, foodstuff and jewellery. For visitors, a number of activities are also arranged. but most simply wish to stay within the fair grounds to watch the fascinating Rajasthan village tour metamorphose before their eyes.

Reach Ajmer town and move by road to Pushkar about eleven kilometers away. Spend the day visiting the Fair and then put up at luxury tented accommodation for the night.

Visit the fair again enjoy camel ride and pay a visit to Brahma lake and the Brahma temple there. Intermingle with the local crowd and cherish the color and local flavor.
