Jodhpur - Jaisalmer - Jaipur
Kite flying is a major recreation in Many parts of India. Rajesthan too has lovers of kites. The fourteenth of January is celebrated as Makar Sankranti whence lot of kites take to the skies which is abuzz with a grand melange of colors.

| Day 1 |
Arrive in Jodhpur and we will pick you up from the airport and take you to the luxury resort we have booked in advance. In available time we will take a light stroll at the bazaar nearby to get the feel of the place.

| Day 2 |
We will go sightseeing at Jodhpur visit palaces and forts as the kites take to the skies everywhere. It is an amazing spectacle the kites color the sky over the horizon. We will visit the famous Mehrangarh Fort at Jodhpur before calling it a day. |
| Day 3 |
Drive to Jaisalmer: The desert city sky is full of kites of various shapes and size. The amazing patterns and dazzling colors of the kite augurs peace, harmony and happiness. We will also fly some kites at the hill Fort of Jaisalmer. After a day full of gaiety we will return from the desert festival to our resort for dinner and sleep. |
| Day 4 |
We will spend more time at Jaiselmer admiring its resplendent Havelis and the leave for Jodhpur which is at a distance of 268 km.. We will spend our time at leisure and relax in the resort.

| Day 5 |
Morning train to Jaipur which is at a distance of 332 km from Jodhpur. We indulge in lot of sightseeing visiting palaces, havelis, popular eateries and baazars. We make up for our excursions in the cool confines of the hotel. Fine dining and sound sleep makes next days travel easier.

| Day 6 |
Today on Makar Sankranti Festival (Jan 14th) we will visit key places to watch the kite flying festival in Jaipur. Where ever possible we will fly some kites ourselves and be a part of the festivities. We spend the interludes savoring the wonderful snacks and sweets Marwari Style. After a night stay we will return back to New Delhi for flight back home.
