Tiger Tour India

Delhi-Bharatpur-Kanha-Delhi. 11 Days

India tour booking agents » India Package Tours » Special tiger trip

Ten game drives to see tigers in Kanha National Park, two days in the bird paradise of Bharaptur and a visit to the incredible Taj Mahal.

This special trip will be led by Sanjeev Kulhalli whose knowledge, passion and hospitality have proved very popular with clients over the last 10 years. As well as being an accomplished naturalist is passionate about wildlife and in particular tigers .

Nestled in the ranges of the Satpuras in Madhya Pradesh and abounding in Sal and mixed forests, Kanha was one of the first 9 Project Tiger areas initiated in 1973. The total area covers 1945 sq. kms with a core area of 940 sq. kms. The area was enlarged after Project Tiger was initiated and still awaits final legal notification. The tiger population was said to be 48 in 1976 and is estimated today at 115.

India Footprints ensures that the surrounding communities can benefit directly from this incredible natural asset and the many visitors who come to see this magnificent big cat the chances of protecting the tigers are greatly increased, this is why we will be visiting a local school project at Kanha where Indiafootprints has been working for a number of years. Each participant who books on this safari will already be committing £20.00 to this project. For conservationists, wildlife fans and nature photographers this will be a very special safari.

A spot contribution of 20 GBP per person will be given by India Footprints to the local school for the upliftment of the locals in front of the clients.
