On the jeep safari we see many animals and try to spot the tiger as well.
Day 3 Pench National Park- Morning evening game drive. The tiger reserve abounds in animals and birds. We look for the tiger in open jeep or on an elephant safari. The tiger sighting is exhilarating and exciting and we will see this magnificent cat today. Other animals we will look for are the leopard, wolf, wild dog, sloth bear, deer and the bison.

We relax in the wonderful confines of the resort and the have lunch. Our first foray into the park begins at 3 pm from Khatia Gate. Kanha differs from Pench as it is moist deciduous while the latter is drier. The ride over Kanha Ghat is exciting as many animals can be seen on its Bamboo slopes and grassy meadows. The tiger is often seen here and it is the best place to encounter a panther. We search for animals all along and see many of them. During our stay at the accommodation we will watch a wildlife film over drinks and dinner. Sound sleep is assured in salubrious climes of Kanha. .
Day 5 Morning evening game drive. The most beautiful animal in Kanha is the Hard Ground Barasingha. The red deer thrives well in the extensive grasslands of the reserve. It was brought back from extinction with years of conservation measures. The twelve tines rise magnificently from its head and are used for territorial scuffles. Other animals seen are the sambar deer, spotted deer, barking deer, sloth bear and bison. Jackal and Hanuman Monkeys are a common sight and so is the peafowl. In search of big game we will go on open jeep in the morning and evening. A visit to the tribal village is an eye opener. The post safari period is for experiencing the tribal lifestyle and their culture.
.
Day 6 Morning evening game drive. The joy rides on elephant back are worth taking. This is an exotic experience for inbound tourists who have for the first time taken the ride. Elephant safari could bring us closer to the tiger hence we will organize one. We will also look for the leopard which is an elusive creature of the forest. Birding goes along with the tiger safari as we look for spectacular species. In the evening we enjoy some tribal dances along with drinks and dinner. We sleep early as we have to leave for another tiger safari park in the morning. .
Day 7 We drive on to Bandhavgarh in the morning (5½ hours). At the lodge in Bandhavgarh we rest and take lunch. Afternoon jungle safari begins around 3 pm from the Tala Gate. This tiger reserve is one of the best place to see the big cat in India. We will go on an open jeep looking for the tigers and other big game. The animals prefer marshy grasslands that abound in the park. we move around the meadows tracking the big cat. In the late evening we spend time watching nature films over the dinner.
