Day 01:
Arrive Delhi Arrive Delhi. Overnight stay. Meet other guests on this package tour.
Day 02:
Guwahati-Kaziranga
Meals: Find dining and chai.
Catch Flight to Guwahati early morning. Drive for Kaziranga National Park (4½ hr). Enjoy Bihu folk dances have fulfilling dinner and sleep well.
Day 03:
Kaziranga National Park
Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea.
Kaziranga: (i.e day after arrival) Elephant ride for about one hour. Back to the accommodation by 8 am. Post breakfast drive to the Western Range. This range has maximum short grass areas Harbor One horned rhinos and endangered Water Buffalo. Part of the drive is through Low Alluvial Savannah Woodlands. A round of the entire circuit is around 20 km. High herbivore density in wetlands are characteristic of the habitat. At 2 pm drive to Kaziranga Range which covers central region of the park. I
Day 04 & 05:
Kaziranga National Park
Meals: All major meals and chai tea.At pre dawn visit Panbari Range Forest a semi-evergreen forest situated in plains and highland. It is migratory route for Indian wild elephant who inhabit Kaziranga's tall grassland. Discover Hollock Gibbon - only ape found in India.
Go bird watching and come across exciting avian wonders.
Arrive for brunch then drive to Eastern Agaratuli Forest Range for bird watching. Find nesting birds - raptors and pelicans. Watch migrant and resident wetland birds at Sohola Beel. You come across many birds in the wetland.Siscover Dillenia Range Swamp Forests. Wild elephant, Asian water buffalos and species of swamp deer can be seen. Takes 40 minutes to reach. Tourist route approximately 26 km.
Day 06:
Kaziranga-Guwahati-Calcutta
Meals: breakfast
Drive to Guwahati take connecting flight to Kolkutta. Arrive at Kolutta by
evening. Overnight stay at Hotel Landmark or similar.
Day 07: Calcutta-Sunderbans National Park
Meals: lunch, dinner and tea.
Escorted on the
jetty at Sonakhali. The ride is abiout two and half hours and intersects green lanscape typical of
Bengal. All around are picturesque hutments and shopping haats of the rustic dwellers.
Cruising on the
riversGomor, Hogol, Bidya , Durgaduani, and Gumdi. Spend good time overboard hours before reaching Sunderbans
Jungle Camp on Bali Island. Visit Sajnekhali Mangrove Interpretation Center, while coming bac visit
Sudhyanakhali watchtower. Have dinner at the
resort.
Day 08 and 09: Sunderbans National Park
Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea.
Full day cruise. Take a walk after breakfast at Dobanki. Proceed towards Netidhopani visit excavations taken place here alongside some wonderful animal watching. Keep a watch for Estuarine Crocodiles and Irrawady Dolphin. reach back in the evening after a day full of nature trek Watch an opera based on the myth of Goddess
Bonobibi performed by the local village folk.
Day 10: Sunderbans National Park-Calcutta - Delhi
Meals: breakfast, lunch and tea.
Tour Bali interact with local residents busy fishing, weaving and
making boats. Have fun cruising on the country boats. Ride over the narrow canals
and complete your Sunderbans tour. Post lunch transfer to
Kolkata for connecting flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi in evening.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Delhi - Onwards
Meals: Breakfast
Transfer to airport to connect your onward flight.
