Tiger Photography
Tiger reserves as Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Pench National Parks offer the best Tiger Photography in India. These preserves have a high density of tigers and therefore are ideal for photographing tiger in the wild.
The best season for photographing tigers is the summer when the prey base of the tiger congregate in the core area of the park and hence tiger activity increases. Hot months of summers also offer plenty of sun light. Professional wildlife photographers prefer this season for Bengal Tiger and wildlife photography.
Nature Photography at National Parks and Sanctuaries.
Tiger reserves as Kanha, Ranthambhore, Pench, Corbett tiger reserve and Bandhavgarh offer best chance of photographing wildlife in India. Tiger photography is made possible on elephant ride and tiger show. Photograping tigers and wildlife is also possible in jeep safari in the parks. Special permission from MOEF has to be taken for photographing tigers on foot or while sitting in a hide and at night by camera traps. High quality photographic equipment is required for professional nature photography.
Professional camera and high resolution tele lenses perform the best, same is applicable to digital cameras and lenses. Long lens of 300 mm is enough for tiger and wildlife since wild animals are large and seen within the range of lenses.
For a bird photograph long lens of 800mm is must. We arrange bird photography tour for bird photographers. We organise wildlife photographic tours and expeditions for professional and amateur lensmen.
Filming Tigers
Indian tiger preserves are the preferred destinations for filming tigers and wildife. Many professional film makers and filming companies have made films on tigers and wild animals especially mammals in tiger safari tour.
Wildlife film producers like National Geographic Society, Partridge and Discovery have filmed tigers and Indian wildlife for their TV serials. Professional wildlife film making requires permission from MOEF and special fees has to be paid to the park authority for filming equipment and a charge for filming inside the park on elephant back and in jeep safari. Night filming also requires permission.
We assist and make all arrangements for filming tigers in India and provide travel arrangements to the team.
